Phosphor (Forge) optimizes Minecraft’s lighting engine without changing vanilla gameplay. Available for Forge on Minecraft 1.12.2 - 1.15.2, it can halve chunk generation time in some dimensions and reduce stuttering during exploration. Server-side installation does not require players to install the mod, but Forge releases are no longer supported or updated.
