Buildcraft is a classic tech mod built around pipes that transport items, fluids and mechanical energy between inventories and machines. There are many pipe types with unique functions, including Wooden, Cobblestone, Stone, Sandstone, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Emerald and Obsidian.
Pipe Sealant turns pipes into Fluid Pipes, and Redstone makes Kinesis Pipes for energy. It runs on Forge for Minecraft 1.4.7 - 1.12.2; the 1.12.2 release lacks robots, the builder and the filler, which are still in the 1.7.10 releases.
