BaguetteLib is a developer library that adds proper death and inventory events missing from standard NeoForge events. It lets mods catch a death before it happens (and cancel it) or act afterwards, for players and mobs alike.

Inventory events cover hotbar changes, armour swaps and item pickups, exposing both the old and new item with special handling for main hand and offhand. No mixins needed; available for Forge, NeoForge and Fabric on Minecraft 1.20.1 - 26.3.
