Aroma1997s Dimensional World adds a new mining dimension, the Mining World, so quarries from mods like Buildcraft do not riddle your Overworld with holes. It also works as a separate world to test things in.

Build a Nether-portal-shaped frame from special bricks (stone bricks plus a pickaxe), light it with the Portal Igniter and sneak inside to travel. The Mining World is nearly flat and has caves. For Forge, Minecraft 1.11 - 1.12.2.

Keep your main map clean: a mining world on your Minecraft server is one click away in the panel.
