BetterChat is a Valheim mod that upgrades the chat system with flexible configuration. Adjust how long the chat window stays visible, keep it always on, remove forced caps from shouts, and open chat instantly with the / key.
Configure talk/whisper distances, hide map pings from shouts, and enable click-through so you can interact with UI behind chat. Most options are client-side but can be synced or enforced via ConditionalConfigSync. ⚙️
